Baughman Tile has a long history in the drainage industry. We also have a long history of family. Since 1883, we have not only focused on drainage, we’ve focused on people. Our employees are like family to us and we treat them as such.
Established in 1883 with frugal means, our founder, John Christ Baughman purchased 100 acres where our factory stands today and started production on 20,000 feet of clay tile per week. An immigrant from Germany, John Christ instilled a foundation of hard work and pride in his employees. Five generations later, our President, Brad Baughman still believes in these same values to excel our employees and company to meet our mission statement on a daily basis.
We believe in engaging our employees in the process. We encourage feedback and understand that people can only realize their true capabilities by allowing them the opportunity to use their full potential. We don’t believe in working towards titles, we believe in working together to make a difference.
